Architecture, Power, and the Public Realm
Set in Hammersborg, this panel will explore how design disciplines shape democratic life, influence power structures, and define the quality, accessibility, and inclusivity of public space.
Bringing together an international group of thinkers and practitioners working across architecture, urban strategy, policy, economics, and civic engagement, the event will also investigate what it means to restore trust, accessibility, and connection between institutions and citizens through design. By moving beyond architecture alone, the discussion will offer a broader perspective on how spatial decisions affect trust in institutions, participation in public life, and the everyday experience of democracy in cities.
