The role of the architect is changing. As cities grapple with climate pressures, economic uncertainty and growing demands on public infrastructure, architects are being asked to do more than design buildings. Increasingly, they are expected to shape policy, drive adaptation and help create long-term value for communities.

Hosted by ING, the leading communications consultancy for the built world, this discussion draws on insights from «Architecture Tomorrow: Guardians of Place«, its recent research report examining how architecture practices are responding to these changing expectations.

Featuring local and international perspectives from architecture, urban design and landscape architecture, the panel will explore how the profession can expand its influence beyond individual projects and play a greater role in shaping policy, investment and long-term urban outcomes.
